Edusko, a leading EdTech in Africa will host hundreds of parents and their teenagers at the maiden edition of the Avenue.
The Avenue is a convergence of young people and their parents to enhance healthy early childhood experiences, ensure a head-start to a great career, promote positive outcomes for children and help parents build strong relationships with their children.
According to the CEO of Edusko Africa, Jide Ayegbusi, this year’s edition of the event will focus on solutions to the challenges of parental responsibility in the digital age.
“Understanding the real constraints families and children face in the digital world is the first step towards finding effective strategies that both parents and children can use to maximize opportunities and minimize risks. This year, we would be hosting hundreds of parents and their teenagers in Lagos to discuss solutions to challenges of parental responsibility in the digital age”, said Ayegbusi.
He further said, “We are really excited about this initiative because it fully aligns with our mission to enhance the quality of and access to education in Africa by creating game-changing solutions and platforms for education providers, school leaders, policy makers, teachers, parents and students.”
Speaking on the quality of the event’s content, the company Publicist, Bukola Bello said, “We have invited some selected eminent personalities within and outside Nigeria to engage with the participants at the event. It’s also interesting to know that there is going to be a panel for the Teenagers; where selected students from some of the leading schools in Nigeria would be discussing: Digital Age - What we expect from our parents.”
The company’s flagship, Edusko.com, is Africa’s largest online platform where loving families find suitable private schools in Nigeria, Ghana and beyond. Others include: The Business of Education Summit, Family and School Matters, Meet the Emeritus and Edusko Academy.
The avenue is free to attend and will hold on the 1st of May, 2019 at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja Lagos by 9am. This edition is supported by Metropolitan School of Business and Management, UK.
