One unique feature of the college with reference to students' enrolment is the un compromising policy that barred the admission of students into upper classes right from inception. The idea has greatly afforded the college the opportunity to really understand the attitudes of the students at their formative stage from the blast of the whistle to the breast of the tape. The programme of education of the college was highly pragmatic and adaptable to the diverse culture of the various ethnic groups in Nigeria with utmost trust and reverence for the dignity of each individual as encapsulated in the motto of the college. ''LEARNING AND DISCIPLINE'' Perhaps; the aforementioned, coupled with the lofty ideals of the college was what informed the conferment of thr BEST SECONDARY SCHOOL IN SOUTH-WESTERN NIGERIA on the college by the senate of the National Association of Nigeria students(NANS) on October 22, 2009.
