Hope Children School,Nursery and Primary was founded by Late High Chief Mrs. Alicemay Oyinwole Oladapo JP  on the 22nd January, 1968. The main objective of the school is basic and sound educational background and a full primary education for children of all nationalities. She believed that ‘No child should be left behind’ and ‘qualitative education is the answer to eradicating poverty’.

The school took off on its permanent site with purpose built structure on four plots of land located at 165/167 OJO Road, AJEGUNLE , APAPA with twenty-seven pupils. Today, the population of the school is growing in leaps and bounds as a result of its dedicated teachers,superb management and the unique quality in teaching. Hope Children School also prepares the children morally , physically, intellectually and socially for secondary education. The remains a trusted brand name in community. As a proof of her high academic standard, a full-scale inspection of the school was carried out in 1973 by the Lagos State Ministry of Education for approval and was subsequently approved. The school has since then remained one of the best -approved private Nursery and Primary schools in Lagos State in particular and Nigeria in general. Hope Children School, Ojo Road is a centre of academic excellence with highly qualified, experienced and dedicated teachers, conducive classrooms and serene environment for learning, well equipped computer, home economics and multipurpose science laboratory, standby generator, good playgroup facilities, clinic and functional library to mention but a few. After the demise of the founder and in accordance with God’s providence,the ownership and control of Hope Children School, Ojo Road in 2014 fell on Dr Mrs Tolu Sodimu JP who worked tirelessly with the founder and mother ,late High Chief Mrs Alice may Oyin Oladapo JP in the day to day management and administration of the school till death . Since then she has continued to maintain its high academic standard and in accordance with the vision and mission of its establishment
