Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti started in October 2010. At that period in time, there were few members of staff who kicked off as the first set of management, non-teaching and teaching staff. As the years rolled by, God increased the University (ABUAD) Right now ABUAD has over 500 senior staff and well over a thousand junior staff. The Wife of the Founder Yeye Aare Modupe Babalola saw the need for a High quality school for the children of staff of the University, so she decided to put resources together and start a creche and nursery to meet the immediate need of the members of staff. Barely a year after, the Founder Aare Afe Babalola decided to erect a world standard international schools which will start from creche up to the Senior Seconary School. The purpose of this is to set right education standard in Nigeria and provide education for children from tender age to the secondary school level and eventually to the university, both for the staff and general public. Here we are today, the school is growing at a commendable rate. All to the glory of God.
