The piece of land on which the school is situated was procured many years ago when Rev M.O Obalowo was vicar of the Church of Pentecost, Festac Town. The Canon(Dr) Segun Adeyemi now a Rt Rev(Bishop of Kwara.) started a church on the site in 1997. He also made a proposal to the church council to build a multipurpose community centre on the site. The foundation stone was laid by the Most Revd. Joseph Abiodun Adetiloye on Sunday 8th June,1997. A caretaker committee headed by Chief (Dr) Femi Anibaba as chairman, Chief (Mrs) Nike Koyenikan, sub-committee chairman, Mrs Marian .E. Okosesi, secretary. Rev.J.P Adeyemi-Cole, interview panel chairman, Engr Gbenga Oyegbesan, chairman Building Committee, Mr Okey Ndubueze, The Agent in charge of All Saints Church, 41Rd. Mrs Joyce Anyoakei, Women's Guild Representative, Mr Chima Okeke, Mr.A.Ogunnubi, Youths Representative. All these were appointed to see to the implementation of the projects. On the first of August, 1997, the very first head teacher was appointed to start a school on the first of September, 1997. He is Mr Micheal O. Koyejo who was shown a barren ground on which to operate as the foundation of the building was not even laid. Make-shift boards were constructed and hung on the available posts of the temporary church to demarcate six classrooms. Six teaching staff reported for duty on 1st September,1997 and on the 15th September,1997, the school opened officially with thirty-seven(37) children. The opening service was conducted by Canon Dr Segun Adeyemi now(Rt Rev), assisted by Rev. Demola Odukoya and almost all the Parish Counselors were present. At the end of the first session on 31st July, 1998, the number of children had risen to one hundred and thirty-four (134). The first graduants from the school passed out in July 2001. The twenty-four of them have either graduated or are now about graduating from the University. But so far, the school has graduated twelve (12) sets of pupils totaling about four hundred and eighty. The school went through many changes both in academics and in the administration of the school. After the retirement of the pioneer head teacher, the Rev'd Canon A.O Agara took over as the first clergyman to head the school. Two other priests after him have also held forte. They are Rev Akin Olugboji and Rev Yomi Ajayi(the present head). Now, we have almost four hundred pupils who are being looked after by twenty-three( 23) qualified teachers. The school has a computer laboratory, a well equipped music room a standard library and a sick bay. The school also runs a standard Creche between 6.00a.m. - 7.00p.m. Between 2007/2008, the population of the school rose to almost seven hundred (700). Regrettably, the number dropped below four hundred as a result of unforeseen circumstances. The school also experienced administrative changes. Between 2005 to date, three head teachers served in the school: Rev A.O Agara(now Rev Canon) Jan 2005-Dec 2005, Rev.Akin Olugboji (2006-2011). The present Head teacher Rev Yomi Ajayi in August 2011 to date. Through the efforts of this present Head teacher, some facilities are being put in place in order to bring back the past glory of the school. The school was formally commissioned in May 2003 by Archbishop Abiodun Adetiloye whose name the school has been named after. To God be the glory, the school is 15years old.
