History of aduvie elementary school

A GLIMPSE INTO ADUVIE NURSERY Borrowing the famous words of Waltz Disney, “Around here, we don’t look backwards for very long; we keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things because we are curious, and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” Aduvie Nursery is a child-development centre. We are incredibly pleased to provide a nurturing and child-centered school, where children learn and grow in a stimulating and engaging environment which encourages not only critical thinking but also develops problem-solving skills in learners. Our wonderful design will create multiple opportunities for our children to learn and discover new experiences under the “Nigerian and British Early Year Foundation Stage” curriculum, with practical life activities and hands-on to develop a holistic child. Etiquette lessons are introduced at the nursery level to help our learners develop social skills, show them how to interact in a polite manner, and teach them to treat others with respect. Our philosophy is to meet the needs of every child. Using a wide range of visual, auditory, reading and writing, and kinesthetics learning styles, our teachers are state-of-the-art, modern tutors and experienced teachers that ensure every individual child’s learning needs are met and are nurtured to bring out the best in them. They also ensure that our learners engage in purposeful learning, in order to easily acquire skills and knowledge. The focus on individual learning allows pupils to work at their own pace, which promotes a healthy environment for special needs children. The nursery section emphasizes creative learning, such as role play, story readings, singing and painting. The goal of this system is to develop the child emotionally, physically, and intellectually. The Section also has a very flexible after-school care system that can be personalized to meet the needs of learners. In Aduvie, we encourage our learners to not only excel academically but also to participate in the many different sporting, cultural, leadership and extracurricular activities that are provided to enhance and showcase their talents, such as ballet, swimming, music, karate, gymnastics and foreign languages (Mandarin, Spanish and French).
