Akod College, a co-edducational secondary school , located at Association Avenue in Lagos State, which is its permanent site. The school was established in September 26, 2005 by Mr. H. O. Adewusi The school officially took off on the said date with five students, namely: Makanjuola Kolawole Oladiran Oluwasegun Kolawole Adedeji Samuel Fatoba Akinwunmi Iregbu Grace The objective of setting up the school are: To provide an increasing number of primary leavers with the opportunity for education of a higher quality; irrespective of sex, social, religion or ethnic background. To raise a generational of people who can think fo themselves, respect the dignity of labour and appreciate those values specified under our broad National aims and live as good and responsible citizens. To encourage moral uprightness and the fear of God in all students activities. To diversified our curriculum to cater for differences in talent, skills and roles possessed by or open to students after their secondary school. To maintain and sustain a high school of international standard capable of meeting the ever growing global challenges on education. The school is approved by the Lagos state government, The West African Examination Council (WAEC), NECO and NABTEB.
