Angel Crown College of Education is a private college located at kilometre 11 Karshi Road Gidan, F.C.T Abuja. The college is situated on her permanent site measuring 5.4 hectares, plus two other sites measuring 12.46 hectares and 18.6 hectares respectively for future development. Angel Crown College of Education started with Nursery and Primary section with the name Angel Crown International schools in the year 2004; the secondary section was later added though with very low in-take in 2006. Due to the general complaints of the death of trained teachers for the U.B.E programme and the huge number of JAMB candidates who could not secure admission into tertiary institutions as a result of their performances and insufficient number of tertiary institutions that could readily accommodate JAMB candidates who might have reached the approved cut-off points in the JAMB examination. After all considerations on where we could be relevant in providing solution to this national problem, we settled for college of education and got registered formally with the corporate affairs commission and N.C.C.E on 17th and 18th August 2009. N.C.C.E officials carried out resource inspection visit to the college and the 1st letter of administration approval from N.C.C.E dated 30th December 2009, this was also followed with approval of the N.C.C.E governing board dated 17th May 2010.
