In Austrialian Academy, We believe in respecting the traditional custodians of the land, and elders both past and present. We believe in providing a warm, loving and friendly home for both children and parents. We believe in the future of our kids and love to be a great role model for them to follow. This is a Christian school where children are empowered academically, morally and spiritually. We believe in supporting the development of all children in our care, through building their confidence and learning in all areas of their development, helping them through their challenges and strengths as part of their growing up from babyhood to toddlerhood, then preparing for school. We believe in celebrating and respecting all cultures, family backgrounds and structures, children with additional needs and diverse linguistic backgrounds through the experiences offered in our environment, and by making all children and families feel welcome. We believe in teaching awareness and practice of a sustainable environment. We believe that all children and families should be heard. Their voices of suggestions contribute greatly to the decision making in our school. We believe in a collaborative partnership with Australian education, as they offer valuable training, support and resources. We believe that children learn through the experiences that are in their environment, through opportunities of play and social interaction. We believe in communication and partnerships with families, and understand how busy families are when collecting their children from school, that families won’t always have time to stop and read about their child’s day in school, therefore we discuss verbally with families about their child’s day.
