The journey took off in July 2007, when we organized a summer school for that year, at the current site of the school No 8 Ogunsiji Close, off Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos. By the special Grace of God we have been able to retain and expand our classes within the same complex in spite of the ever increasing rates. The Lord provided us with the means to equip our classes with first class furniture and modern teaching aids. We secured the services of good teachers many of whom have remained with us till this day, sustained by the Grace of God. Like a seed planted and watered, we have seen the glory of God move the school upward from one level to another. We are here to “pay attention to details, in a Christian environment, laying the proper foundation for each child to be the best and a role model”. At Basic Steps School, our vision is “to be a world class institution of learning, producing well rounded pupils who can compete at any level and are invaluable assets to themselves and the society at large”.
