Basil International Schools is a co-educational Nursery, Primary, and Secondary School. Basil welcomes children of all nationalities. Since 1974, Basil International Schools (Formerly Iyaniwura School and Basil College), have been in the forefront of children’s education in Ilupeju, and always breaking new frontiers. We are proud that Alumni of the Schools are today very accomplished in their various areas of endeavour, within Nigeria and in Diaspora. We are developing on this foundation by identifying new and exciting frontiers and bringing them to your doorstep. The schools were founded by Mrs Folasde BIOBAKU, a seasoned educationist. For over 40 years we have been delivering qualitative education with enduring standards. The schools are noted for their academic successes.  Although academic attainment is a priority, we also ensure the children have an all round education. We have various extra-curricula clubs, we expose them to arts, music, drama and inculcate a love of reading.  A Basil student can fit into any educational instituition in Nigeria or abroad.   The school buildings are located in a safe, secure area in the heart of Ilupeju off the busy main roads .
