Like every other secondary school in Nigeria, the Junior Secondary School (JSS) in CDM Academy International is a three year programme. At the completion of the third year of studies, junior students are required to take the prescribed external examinations preparatory for entry into the senior secondary school. The Academy offers N.E.C.O. and B.E.C.E. examinations to its junior students. A good performance and a pass in at least 6 subjects including English and Mathematics in any of the above examinations guarantees the eligibility of a junior student for promotion into the senior secondary school. The Senior Secondary School (SSS) also is a three year programme. At the completion of the third year of studies, the Academy offers W.A.E.C. and N.E.C.O. examinations to its senior students. A good performance and a pass at ‘Credit’ level in at least 5 subjects including English and Mathematics in any of the above examinations is considered as a partial fulfilment of the requirement for entry qualifications into Nigerian Universities. The Academy also prepares its senior students for JAMB examinations. A mandatory pass of JAMB examinations additional to at least 5 credits including English and Mathematics qualifies a student for entry into Nigerian Universities. Apart from its normal routine, CDM Academy International prepares students wishing to school abroad for the University of Cambridge International examinations, TOEFL, SAT, and IELTS.
