Charis Group of Schools is an international and co-educational school in Nigeria. We cater for the educational, social and moral needs of children based on Christian values from primary school to the senior secondary school.

Charis International College Oke-Ata, Abeokuta, Ogun state was founded in September 2002. It took off on a temporary site at Block 17, Plot 6, Oladeinde Coker Avenue Oke-Ata Housing Estate (Main Tarred Road). The foundation for the permanent site consisting a quadrangle with 10 classrooms was laid in 2002. The first day at the school opened with devotion attended by family friends, teachers and students. Present in attendance that day were four (4) full-time teachers, two (2) part-time teachers and nine (9) students by the close of work on that day. The foundation Principal Mr. E.O. Ayodele who is still the current Principal brings on board many years of experience in the educational sector. The school held its first holiday coaching classes for JSS 1, JSS II, and JSS III between August and September 2002 to engage the students during the break and create awareness for the school take off in September, 2002. At the end of the first session in July 2002, there were 10 students (boys and girls) in JSS 1 and 9 students (boys and girls) in JSS II.
