Chris-Flourish Children School commenced operations in September, 2000 with seven pupils at its temporary location, 28, Gbadabiu Avenue, Alakuko, Lagos State. The vision came out of a burning desire to fill observed gaps in the educational services available in the environment. It opened with one employee in support of the proprietress, Mrs. Owolabi Olufunmilola, who spearheaded the struggle of bringing to the public acceptance a great vision merely conceived at the time. However, more teachers were engaged a few months into the operations of the school. The school gained government approval in 2007 and has since been presenting pupils for government examinations in the state with consistently impressive results. The progress and achievements of the pupils based on the strong foundation laid by the school speak volumes of her success story. Today, Chris-Flourish Children School has so many ‘kids’ (albeit now matured) with songs of praise in many fields of study/professions. This answers the question why the school has consistently enjoyed strong economic and emotional bonds with her parents. The drive continues as the passion keeps propelling. Chris-Flourish Children School now sits in her permanent site, a vintage location on the popular Baale Animashaun Road, Alakuko, Lagos State. To God be the Glory.
