The institution was established as a nursery school in February 1981 and was fully registered in 1997 as a Basic Education Institution and awarded a Grade A status in January, 2000. Christian Home School became a Limited liability company in 2004. Mrs. Christiana Okae, the founder of the school is the Managing Director and Mrs. Adelaide Forson is a director. There is a management team made up of the Managing Director, Director of Administration, the Headmaster, and the Bursar. The Christian Home School has a spacious compound with modern facilities such as Science Laboratory, well fitted kitchen for the Home Economics Department, classrooms, Library and Computer Laboratory. The school board which is the decision making body of the institution ensures that policies are carried out by the management team and the Head- teacher sees to their implementation. Guideway Consult & Chartered Accountants are the auditors for the school. The nine year basic education earns the pupils/students with the Basic Education Certificate Examination status which qualifies them to enter the Senior High School. The school is currently situated on the Keep Fit Road near the Dansoman main Roundabout. It has one hundred (100) members of staff who are involved in teaching and non teaching assignments. The Headmaster assisted by his deputies, oversee the day to day administration of the academic work of the School. Eighteen batches of B.E.C.E. graduates have been produced and their results have been very impressive. Most graduates over the years have gained admissions to Senior High Schools such as Achimota, Wesley Girls, Holy Child, St. Augustines, Adisadel, Mfantsipim, Aburi Girls, Presbyterian Boys, Accra Academy etc. Our Mission The Christian Home School aims at providing sound academic and moral education in a Christian environment to produce students who will serve to become assets not only to themselves but also to their families and country. Curriculum The school provides facilities for a nine (9) year Basic Education course, which includes a six (6) year primary course and a three (3) year Junior High School programme. The preparation of pupils for the Basic Education Certificate Examination, which is written at the end of the ninth year, is approached with all seriousness, throughout the nine-year period.
