If you have completed WAEC and Cambridge IGCSE, the standard requirements for A’Level Programme are for students to have achieved grades A to C in at least five subjects including English and Maths and from age 15. The same requirement is necessary for International Degree Foundations and Medical foundation. Cambridge A-Levels are an international examination offered in Nigeria and a host of other countries worldwide. In Nigeria, the exams are administered by the British Council in conjunction with the CIE (Cambridge International Exams). Cambridge A-Levels are the preferred route of entry into Universities in the UK, especially for the most selective courses such as Medicine, Law and Engineering. While other routes into UK Universities are available, the high standards and acceptability of A-Levels make them a suitable choice every year. In addition to an entry in the UK, Cambridge A-Levels can also be used to gain admission into the year 2 of Nigerian Federal Universities as Direct Entry candidates. It allows candidates to gain maturity, both academically and morally while engaging in a rigorous and challenging course of study. Traditionally, the preparation for Cambridge A-levels is expected to last for two years following a GCSE course. Since most school leavers here in Nigeria have already completed one year of post-GCSE study, the Cambridge A-Levels can be delivered to such candidates over a one-year period.

D-Ivy Sixth Form College is a world-class private co-educational institution founded in 1998 by The Late Mr Oludotun Akintoye Ilo. Its objective is to provide in Nigeria a high level of excellent quality education comparable to what is available in the best schools in any part of the world. Over the years, we have succeeded in this objective by producing students with outstanding results. These students have hugely excelled in Cambridge A levels; the gold standard through which several students have been able to gain admission into top universities in the United Kingdom (UK), United State of America (USA), Singapore and Nigeria. Some of our ex-students have graduated with first-class honours from leading universities. These students include Arriola Abiola (Chemical Engr.), University College London; Seye Olusoga (Electrical Engr.), Surrey University; Laide Oginni (Electrical Engr.) and Queen Mary University. Others are – Wodu Majin (Mathematics), Bolton University and Chinenye Ajagu (Electronics and Communication Engr.), University of Bristol. They all attributed their success to the rigour and depth of the academic experience at D-Ivy Sixth Form College. D-Ivy Sixth Form College is an approved centre for the Cambridge International Examination, and our registration number is NG174. In addition to A-Levels, D Ivy College also runs a fully authorized secondary school which prepares students for the WAEC, NECO and Junior NECO examinations. Our secondary school is at 153 Ilo-Awela Road, Toll Gate, Ota, Ogun state, Nigeria. D-Ivy Sixth Form College has an excellent record in preparing students for other internationally recognized examination such as IGCSE, TOEFL, SAT, GMAT and GRE. In line with one of its objectives, D-Ivy Sixth Form College made history in May 2004 by becoming the first College in Nigeria authorised to run the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. The IB Diploma has proven to be the best educational opportunity in the world as it educates the totality of the person and the only pre-university qualification globally acceptable for University admission. We are proud to be part of the IB World School community, a community with over 2000 schools in 130 countries spread over the world.
