DGIS Ltd, Games Village has two sections –Nursery/Primary school section and the College section-both of which started s campuses of the Garki School but are now independently administered, with Barrs. Kinsley Odabi and Sukky Odabi as Directors. The Primary school section was established in the 2008/2009 session, with Mrs Joy Nkwonta as pioneer head teacher. The College section which began in Garki on 25th September 2006 as a Junior Secondary School relocated to Games Village in the 2012/1023 session with Elder Ukoha K. Ukoha as the pioneer principal. It was accredited for BECE in 2008/2009 and re-accredited in 2014/2015. Today the College is a full Secondary School offering courses from junior secondary 1 (JSS1) to senior secondary 3 (SS3). It graduated its pioneer SS3 students (10 in number) in the 2014/2015 session. Both the primary and secondary sections of DGIS operate the Nigerian curriculum based on the National policy on Education. The school is well-equipped with a functional library and laboratories for science and technology, including computer/ICT and e-learning facilities. Adequate attention is also given to co-curricular activities including sports and entrepreneurial studies. Over the years the school has passed results in external examinations and has become a household name for quality education. DeoGratias International School (DGIS) Ltd, Games Village, Abuja, is one of the schools from the family of DeoGratias Schools and Colleges located in different parts of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja and Agbor in Delta State. The mother school has it humble beginning at the University if Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), Enugu State, where it was founded by the Odabi family in 1970, and from where its headquarters at Kaltungo Street, Garki II, Abuja.
