Dorcas memorial nursery and primary school was formally known as 3A nursery and primary school and was established on 21st October, 1991, the name by then signified the initials of the proprietor Chief Abiodun Anthony Adedogin. The nursery and primary school first took off with seventeen (17) pupils and three (3) teachers with S.A Kokumo as then the Headmaster. The name school metamorphosed into “Dorcas Memorial nursery and primary School after the death of the proprietor’s grandmother, who had the aspiration and desire for a secondary school. In the manifestation of this desire, the proprietor set his focus on establishing the college to offer educational opportunities for the teaming number of schools in the area. The establishment of the college is about to produce opportunities for students who might be unable to continue with their academic pursuit but prefer to aquire one skill or the other to earn their livelihood. The college took off on 27th September, 2001 with seven (7) and eight (8) teachers under the principal-ship of Mr. E.O Ogunnupe. By 2005/2006 session, the college population had increased to 157. Vision To be preferred and reputable co-educational institution, managed and committed to redefining future leaders, to be useful beings to the society. Mission To help to train children to learn values that can enable them to develop themselves sp as to unite others in bringing development to the society through quality education.
