The school commenced real academic work in August 2005. The first set of students wrote the May/June 2006 examination with 87.5% success in the Cambridge Advanced Level International Examination. Almost all the successful students gained admission immediately into various 2nd year degree programmes in various universities. By 2010, the school commenced its Foundation Programme, a 12-month 3-semester programme that prepares its students for direct admission into the 2nd year degree courses of reputable universities abroad to which Doyen Academy is affiliated to; presently, the universities are in Eastern Europe and the United Kingdom. By this Foundation Programme, the student is open to the dual opportunities of studying for his/ her A-Level as well as gaining direct admission to top-rated foreign universities in a record time of 12 months.
