Gold Avenue School is a private educational institution located at Old Ashongman (North Legon), a suburb of Accra in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The school opened in 2007 for Pre-school and Primary pupils. In September 2011, we expanded to Junior High School and further to Gold Avenue Secondary-Technical School in March, 2021. In May 2012, we started a boarding facility on pilot basis for boys, this was expanded to include girls in September, 2012. Currently, we run only the Ghanaian curriculum drawn by the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) of the Ministry of Education. Presently, the Pre-school department is housed in an 18 unit single storey classroom facility. Our new school complex is under construction – a fifteen (15) unit classroom block has been completed and is occupied by the Primary and Junior High School classes. Gold Avenue Secondary-Technical School is currently located temporarily at on our Basic School premises in Accra. Gold Avenue School runs both in-person and online sessions for our learners at all the levels of pre-tertiary education. OUR AIMS To develop knowledge, skills and positive attitudes in members. To serve as a centre for innovative cultural and technological exchanges. To produce and maintain excellent academic results in all external examinations. To help learners to appreciate their unique selves and still respect diversity of other people.
