Goodness of God Comprehensive High School was established in September, 2004 by Pastor Isaac Olasoji Ewuola and his wife Pastor Mrs Margaret Oluwafadurayemisi Ewuola in obedience to a divine vision to go and raise a generation of godly leader whose sole duty is to serve God and mankind. Although long before this time, parents of pupils graduating from the primary arm of the school, Goodness of God Foundation School, Oke-Aro, Akure, had been clamouring for the secondary school claiming that they needed a godly secondary school that can continue to model and build up the lives of their children without inflicting a long term damage, the proprietors refused since she wasn't yet divinely commissioned and instructed for an extension of the divine assignment. The Goodness of God Foundation School is indeed a tremendous success in terms of the quality of pupils produced. After she received the vision from God sometimes in the years 2003, she began planning and making extensive consultation on how best to successfully implement the vision. Mrs Margaret Ewuola was a seasoned educator who had spent most of her teaching career in various secondary schools both within Ondo state and outside. She served at various times as a subject teacher, head of department, guardian and counsellor, and later vice principal at the peak of her career before she retired from the government service. She not only put to use her acquired experience but also attracted a lot of seasoned professional educators who believed in her vision. The Goodness of God Comprehensive High School, opened her door to the first set of students 13th of September, 2004, for the first term, 2004/2005 academic session with about six (6) students as a section within the Goodness of God Foundation School’s building, with a steady progressing approach of growing a Class a year for six year to account for the double three in the 6-3-3-4 National Policy on Education. Shortly after the establishment of the school, the school applied for the Ondo state government approval, which wasn't granted until April, 2008. By this time the young school has moved to her quasi-permanent site also in Oke-Aro. The vision was to have a comprehensive school that would have almost all the learning facilities needed to make learning fun and practical oriented, this propelled the school to acquire 16,000 squared meters of land at phase three, Oba-Afunbiowo housing estate, along Idanre-road, from the Ondo State Property and Development Company, that would house the school's permanent site. The proprietor, still unsatisfied with the acquired land mass wrote to request addition, seeing the present couldn't accommodate the facilities she dreamt of. Additions were then made. Death, however, struck on the 27th August, 2007, when Pastor I. O. Ewuola, answered the divine call to glory, who from divine premonition had prepared his handing over to his wife with all the official documentation perfected for his transition. After grieving, and the funeral rites, the vision, being a Divine one must continue. Mrs Margaret Ewuola, mounted the helm of affairs to stabilizes the school after which she began the construction of the permanent site, in a slow but steady pace. During the time that she managed the school, the school grew in all aspects. Sometimes around mid 2017, the proprietor, called a general staff meetings, in which she disclosed that God informed her to begin to consolidate her work in readiness for her transition. She announced she'll make certain adjustments as the Holy Spirit led her among which was the inauguration of the board of directors to manage the affairs of the school after her Demise. Less than a year later, she had rested peacefully and gloriously. The school was taken over by a board of 5 directors with Mr Ewuola Folarin as the chairman. The new management has equally shown their keying in into the vision of the founding visionary leaders. The school after a series of inspectors from the Ministry of Education got the upgrading to run the senior secondary school in January, 2018. The school conducts WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB for her students in the school compound void of Examination Malpractices. As at Today, the school has produced schools certificates graduates in the hundreds who are bright light in their various higher institutions around the world. Some of them are already in the career world shining the light still.
