Gray’s International College is a centre for diversity and excellence in education and sports. We aim to be an institution for pupils who strive to succeed at the international level. We endeavour to offer students an environment that is conducive to their development as scholars and as members of the society. They are exposed to a variety of experiences that cultivate their minds, bodies and souls, mould their characters and enrich their spiritual growth. Above all, we offer intellectual challenge and stimulation in a highly contemporary and unique setting

The institution which was registered with and was approved by the Kaduna State Ministry of Education, was established under the name Bright Star Nursery and Day Care Center in September, 1982, to cater for the welfare and mental development of children from infancy until school age. In 1984, there was a change in name to Gray’s International School when the primary section was incorporated. With the sole aim and determination of providing an increasing number of primary school leavers with the opportunity of higher and qualitative education, irrespective of sex, social, religious or ethnic background, classes in the Secondary School commenced in January, 1990, in the Kaduna Campus. The nursery arm of the College celebrated its 10th Anniversary between 15th and 21st November, 1992. The very first convocation ceremony for the pioneer set of the secondary school students took place in July, 1995.
