The Elementary years lay the foundation on which all other levels of education are built. With this in mind we aim at excellence in numeracy, literacy, reading and communication skill. Pupils are eased into the reality of formal education, having attained work independence through personal research, studies and term papers. Though topics in schemes are pursued, projects, themes and excursions further introduce pupils into the world of achieving personal goals. Our Pre-School consists of a Toddlers Class, Playgroup and Nursery classes 1 & 2 and a Reception class. Education in Pre-School is essentially by the Early Years Foundation Stage System. All activities are centered on the child and are only guided to align with the schools' curriculum. The visual, audio and physical senses of the child are involved in learning while pupils have the freedom to explore and discover themselves. Objects are real and child-sized in order to integrate pupils into the reality of our world. Classrooms are structured to foster learning through play, and at this early stage, pupils are taught manners and courtesies and are quick to express themselves in simple terms.
