We are a co- educational boarding school for children aged 10 – 17 years. We are situated in Ile – Ife, in the South West of Nigeria. This is a quiet serene town often referred to as the centre of Yoruba culture which adds impetus to our goal of imbibing in our students the important traditional values of respect for elders, communities and selves. Our focus at HAMEC is on the creation of a ‘Total Child’ by fostering an environment where our students attain excellence in academic, moral and ethical values through strong pastoral care and effective mentoring systems. Our teachers are well qualified, dynamic and hard - working. They ensure that students are engaged in a wide range of exciting learning opportunities, delivering a curriculum model based upon the British and Nigerian Curriculum. HAMEC is proud of its commitment to technology in line with the expectations of a 21st century learning environment with well - equipped ICT laboratory, a modern e – library and the provision of laptops for all students. Our students enjoy a vibrant co – curricular activities comprising of a wide variety of sports [including swimming] for physical development and numerous clubs and societies for social and mental development. Our goal is to use this website to project all that HAMEC has to offer to the wider society in addition to making it a communication tool to keep students, teachers, parents, guardians abreast of the school's activities.

HAMEC was established on 24th November, 1997 by Chief Oyekunle Alex-Duduyemi, the Asiwaju of Ile – Ife in memory of his late father, Chief Henry Alex-Duduyemi. This was in a bid to give back to his community as well as to fufil a lifelong dream.
