Our profound gratitude and appreciation go to the Highest Good for His innumerable benefits and immeasurable benevolence towards us thus far in this task of building this noble institution. It is indeed the doing of the Lord and it is marvelous in our sight. Accordingly, Kings International School was established on Monday 11th September 2001 at Abubakar street, New extension Chika, airport road, Abuja. The passion to operate an educational institution that caters to the total development of the child is our dream. Not only to major on the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development, of the child but that which concentrates on holistic development, thus encompassing the moral, ethical, and wholesome upbringing. The prevailing fallen standard of education where sanity in the educational sector has been thrown to the wind, examination malpractice was the order of the day, moral decadence, juvenile delinquencies, youthful exuberance, and many social vices were contending factors with the school system. With this backdrop, raising an institution that will swim against the tide of these multidimensional vices was a herculean task indeed. To this end, we were resolute to confront the challenges headlong trusting God for His goodness and support to achieve these lofty ideals and noble goals. This was an inspiration that has kept this far. We were grossly constrained financially since education is a capital intensive project. Sequel to our antecedent of no capital base, though fresh and full of ideas but without commensurate cash backing to implement our ideas fully to the letter. Nonetheless, we confide in God to provide the resources as we diligently and painstakingly pursue our dream since we are persuaded that ' men of ideas rule the world'. Going down the memory lane, we cannot but recognize the immeasurable favor of God who through thick and thin has helped us this far, despite the obstacles and challenges hitherto experience.
