Maximum efforts are being put into stimulating the hidden talents of pupils, help build their confidence and create awareness which lays emphasis on academic excellence. KPS operates as a family; the pupil teacher ratio is 10: 1. The relationship between the staff and the pupils is remarkably warm, which is built on trust, mutual respect thus enabling pupils to learn in a warm and loving environment. Early Learners 1 (Age 18months -2years) Early Learners 2 (Age 2-3) Nursery 1 (Age 3-4) Nursery 2 (Age 4- 5) Our Preschool (Early Learners – Nursery 2) is a specially prepared Montessori environment. Montessori curriculum emphasizes learning as a process that cannot be determined by a child' age. It is different from traditional classroom curriculum that focuses on children learning the same thing at the same time, in the same way. Instead learning is determined by the rate and speed at which a child can acquire a skill before moving to another skill. The teaching method is child centred where each child is allowed to develop and learn at his/her own pace.
