Kwasi Oppong Senior High school is a private institution founded by Dr. Kwasi Oppong, a prominent Christian businessman with vision of inculcating positive virtues in today’s generation. The school opened on Friday 30th October 2009 with a population of twenty-five (25) students consisting of eleven (11) boarders and Fourteen (14) day students. Out of the twenty-five (25) students, fourteen (14) were girls and eleven (11) were boys. The school started with eight (8) teachers headed by Mr. Osei Tutu Ababio. By 2nd November, 2009 (Monday) as many as eighty-nine (89) students had been enrolled. This consisted of fifty-two (52) boarders and thirty-seven (37) day students. The enrollment consisted of forty-six (46) girls and forty-three (43) boys. Kwasi Oppong Senior High School has been approved by both G.E.S and W.A.E.C as an approved center for WASSCE examination. Kwasi Oppong Senior High School has both Day and Boarding facilities. It has a Boarding facility for both boys and girls both of which are well-furnished with Study room and TV room. Christianity is the bedrock of the school even though it is a non-denominational institution. Students are ushered into intense worship of God from the day they report to school till the day they leave.
