'Lara Day School formally called 'Lara Day Nursery and Primary School was founded by the late Rev. Akin Adesola of blessed memory, on May 1, 1963, in loving memory of his late mother, Mrs. Victoria Omolara Adesola, who died on February 27, 1925 when he was only five months old. She was a trained, certified and devoted teacher and a lover of children. The school was founded when education had not seen the real 'light' in the right perspective as it is today. 'Lara Day School's achievements are numerous and visible. Her products are all over the country contributing to the socio-economic and political life of the nation. Some are gainfully employed in foreign lands.
