Marvel International School Ughelli Secondary Section – “A Place of Pride”, where we mould that child of yours to success. Our entry age to Basic 7 is 10 years. At Marvel International School Ughelli, we operate a mixed sex secondary section, with state the art facilities and a world class academic arena. We operate a rich and an all – encompassing curriculum driven by a team of competent staff who are working tirelessly to meet the needs of our learners. Our curriculum is a blend of the Nigerian and British curriculum to meet global needs of parents and learners. Here in Marvel International school secondary section, we do not believe that education should be a mere theoretical experience but an all encompassing experience that covers the three domains of learning; cognitive domain, psychomotor domain and affective domain. To this end, we have ensured that learning takes place in a conducive and serene environment with fully ventilated spacious classrooms of not more than 10-15 students in each stream of our classes for a better understanding. In this section, we have fully equipped laboraries like the physics laboratory, biology laboratory, chemistry laboratory, and the prevocational laboratory. We also have two fully stocked modern libraries with both foreign and local books and a fully equipped ICT department for their practical computer sessions. We also expose our students to practical courses in Music, Data processing Speech transformation and foreign Languages. We also have various extracurricular groups like the JET Club which grooms students to become young inventors, Press club, Creative and cultural Club etc. We also expose our students to computer skills, craft, electrical, installation, garment making, fashion and designing, office practice, among other things. In Marvel International School Ughelli Secondary section, we not only prepare students for Tertiary Institutions, we also believe in grooming well grounded and disciplined students who will become national and international social change agents.
