Montessori Lighthouse International School was established in September 2013 and it’s located in Port Harcourt GRA Phase II. It is a school with strong Christian Ethos. We provide the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Montessori curriculum in a friendly, safe and well stimulating environment. The school caters from ages 3 months to 4 years old in the Nursery section, 5 to 11 years in Primary School section and 11 years to 14 years in our Junior Secondary section. We understand that the first 5 years of a child’s life is critical because it has the biggest impact on how the child's brain develops. This is why at Montessori Lighthouse, we embrace the unique individuality of all children and provide them with activities and experiences that nurture and develop the fundamental skills needed for them to thrive, do well at school and develop as happy, confident individual which is required for the building of a positive future. At Lighthouse, we also recognise the importance of partnering with parents and we are committed to meeting the needs of the children by consulting with our parents on a regular basis hence making the transition from home to school a very smooth one.
