Moyi Schools comprises of Moyi International School and Moyi Comprehensive High School. Moyi International is made up of Nursery and primary schools, whilst Moyi Comprehensive High School consists of Junior and Senior Secondary Schools. The proprietress, Chief Mrs M. O. Adebayo was a teacher in Lagos State for 35 years holding different positions before her retirement in 1900. Before her retirement from teaching service, the interest she has in educating children made her to conceive the idea of establishing Nursery /Primary and Junior/Secondary Schools. According to the proprietress, the idea became so strong in her to the extent that she set aside a portion of the land her family bought from John West Estate at Jakande Estate Ajangbadi, Ojo Local Government, Lagos for the purpose of building a school that would provide quality education to the wider community. The plan of the school building was approved by Lagos State Department of Physical Planning and Development Matters in October, 1995. Immediately the approval was received, the construction of the school started. The plan consists of a ground floor and two other floors. The construction of the ground floor was completed in May, 1997. Teachers were recruited in August 1997 in preparatory to the school opening in September, 1997. The Nursery/Primary school was dedicated on Saturday September 20, 1997 and on Monday, 22nd September 1997, the school was opened to the community for learning. While the first set of the Secondary School class resumed on Monday, September 9, 2002.
