MYPA College as the off-shoot of the Day care/Nursery and the Primary, came into existence on the 14th of September, 2006. Mr Abiodun Ogunleye was appointed as the first principal of the college while Mrs Juliet E Ogbeifun was appointed as the first Vice Principal and she doubled as the vice principal Academics and Administration for five (5) consecutive years. Pastor Kayode Abejide was the first examination officer of the college, he later resigned his appointment for full time ministry and Mr. Isaac Hemen took over from him as the second examination officer. This position was occupied by Mr Adoo Philip Peterson. T who was later appointed as the vice principal administration in 2012 At inception, there were thirty eight (38) students under the able tutelage of fifteen teaching staff. These figures have since increased. The college started at Bosso Estate site of MYPA Schools until on Monday the 15th of September, 2008 when it moved to its permanent site at Dutsen Kuran Gwari. Presently, there are 198 students and thirty five (35) teaching staff and a total number of fourteen (14) non teaching staff. The first principal of the college officially resigned his appointment on the 12th of December, 2014 and Mr Adoo Philip Peterson .T who was then vice principal Administration was appointed as the new principal of the college, assisted by Ms Juliet.
