New Era Group is made up of New Era Nursery, Primary and High Schools. The Schools were founded by Professor Adeduro Adegeye in Ile-oluji/Okeigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State on 9th October, 1998 as a co-educational school. In the first year, the secondary school shared the same compound with New Era Nursery and Primary School at Ajiferere, along Ondo road which is now the permanent site of the Nursery and Primary school. The Nursery school was approved by the Ondo State Government on 18th December,1998 and upgraded to the primary level on 14th june 2002. The secondary school moved to its permanent site on a three hectare land on 4th October,1999. An approval was obtained for the JSS on 28th February,2001. The High school was later upgraded to the senior level on 6th November, 2003. The schools are co-educational and have Nursery, Primary and Secondary Schools. The schools share the same aims and objectives with the national policy on education but with a better and well guided implemented strategy that is not stagnant. The admission into the school is by competitive entrance examination and interview. Candidates are thoroughly interviewed so as to determine the appropriate classes into which the students can be admitted after evaluating the credentials of such students from their previous schools. As a matter of policy, we don’t admit students to primary six (6), JSS three (3), SSS three (3). The secondary school operates both day and boarding system. Each student must undergo medical test and proper screening from recognized hospital (Government Hospital) to ascertain the state of their health. There is provision for pupils from public primary schools to level up with the ones from private schools through compulsory one month summer coaching for any pupil who wishes to attend our secondary school. Students are continually assessed on every area of learning coupled with research work preparing them for the challenges ahead. Each students is expected to participate in one or two activities by being a member of a particular group from the ones available in the school.
