Nickdel College Ibadan (NCI) is the first approved private boarding co-education secondary school, located in the serenity of the well planned Akobo area of the city. License in October, 1993, with academic work commencing on the 10th January, 1994 offering the admission to boarders on 9th January, 1994 it is the first college within the Nickdel family. The surrounding to the school is beautiful with new environment in development. Nickdel College like other Nickdel schools stands out with characteristic red brick buildings, a unique distinguishing feature of all Nickdel school Nigeria. The slogan Nickdel-where tomorrow begins today is fast being adopted by it sister schools.

Nickdel College was approved by the Oyo State Ministry of Education on 27th of September, 1993. The college was however opened to the first set of JSS one students - thirty- two (32) in all, on the 10th of January, 1994. The school thus got the status of being the first private secondary school in  Oyo State.   Nickdel college is an offshoot of Nickdel Private School  which is the mother of all Nickdel Schools in Nigeria and the brain child of the founding proprietors, Chief Kunle Adeleke and Chief (Mrs) Modupe Adeleke.   Since its inception, Nickdel College has always had an impressive record achieved by staff and students with wide ranging abilities as reflected in the College motto 'in God we aim high'.
