NIIT Benin Training Centre shares the vision of the global NIIT organisation which is “Bringing People and Computers Together Successfully.” We focus on training students on various areas of information technology, and doing so efficiently and affordably. This mission is a reality as a result of a viable partnership between NIIT and Oseni Elamah ICT Institute. The MD of Oseni Elamah ICT Institute, Chief Oseni Elamah, has a strong passion for supporting Nigerian youths and developing their capacity. This is a major driving force behind this partnership. At NIIT we have training programmes for all categories of people ranging from the fundamentals of ICT to professional level. There are programmes for students, working class people, business men/women, government functionaries, etc.

NIIT was established in 1981 by Rajendra S. Pawar and Vijay K. Thadani, graduates from IIT, Delhi; they conceived a franchising model in information technology education and had set up nine centers by 1987. The institute has been operating in Nigeria since 1999.
