Our vision is to provide a citadel of learning par excellence where holistic Christian education is attainable, along with sound morals where qualitative and quantitative education are provided for learners at all levels. The above marks our institution right from inception. This therefore inspired administrative fore runners to formulate a detailed, quantitative and achievable expression as objectives leading to the stated vision. These expressions are herein summarized in our mission statements below; • To provide a total, balanced education for our students that will result in academic excellence. • To imbibe natural tendencies towards strong morals and values and good discipline. • To inculcate social interaction, encourage independence and build team spirit amongst learners. • To give the learners the best academic training that extols the virtue of good and responsible citizen of Nigeria.

Our lady of mount carmel nursery and primary school started in 1975 at oshimmi sign buildings, iya-agan, ebute metta west as a temporary site with few teachers and Rev. Sr Martha Onwuachi (e.h.j) as the headmistress. the school moved to its present site, 31 franklin road ebute- metta west in 1978. it kept on growing from strenght to strenght and eventually got approved on 21st of april 1993 when Rev Sr. Consolata Nwachukwu was the headmistress. by this time, our lady of mount carmel had had classes from primary 1 to primary 6 with eighteen hardworking teachers on board.
