I am passionate and commited to maintaining the glory, success, ethos and traditions of Patterson Memorial Baptist Grammar School, Abeokua, whilst ensuring the school continues to provide quality all-round 21st century experiences. the aim, that all students are part of ‘a culture of continuous improvement’ underpins our work and values for those in our care. I certainly expect the students to achieve the qualifications they need for further and higher education and for adult working life. I also want them to experience a richness and diversity of personal, social, spiritual and recreational opportunities. All these are realities in our school.

Ogun Baptist Conference inaugurated Patterson Memorial Baptist Grammar School on the 10th of October 1995 with a commencement service conducted by Rev. L.O. Nasiru (the then Ogun Baptist Conference Chairman) at the Glorious Baptist Church, Oke Egunya, Abeokuta. The school, Patterson Memorial Baptist Grammar School (PMBGS) is named after Rev I.N. Patterson a missionary and former Principal of BBHS Abeokuta. The site had been occupied by both BBHS and Ogun State Polytechnic now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic,Abeokuta in the past. The renovation of the site started with a sum of fifty Thousand Naira released by the Conference through the office of Treasurer, Mr. J.O. Bamiduro (now Deacon). The work was supervised by Prince J.O. Ogunmuyiwa and his team. Old classrooms were renovated, new ones built while a new dormitory was built for the female students who would be Boarders.
