The school began as a tutorial centre where students from different schools and environments converged to receive long holiday and extra –moral lessons. The centre made remarkable impact in the academic and moral lives of the students and this prompted the demand of parents and sponsors of the student for the centre to metamorphose into a full-fledged secondary schools . After much consideration, planning and feasibility researches, the yearnings of the parents and sponsors of the tutorial students were accepted to and a new secondary school named PROFESSIONAL PLACE COLLEGE came into existence as a full –fledged secondary school offering academic and moral education to deserving students from near and far. Professional Place College commenced as a full fledge secondary school at the end of the 2006 summer / holiday coaching period. The well rounded achievement of the tutorial centre which culminated in its intrinsic goodwill made it possible for Professional place College to convert and enroll almost eighty percent of the holiday classes and tutorial students into the new secondary school as the pioneer students of the Professional Place College. Professional Place College commences academic activities in 2006 with forty students. In a short while, several other students joined the school following their passing the requisite entrance examination. Professional Place College would have commenced operations in 2005 , but the concern of its management for both sound learning by students and welfare of the members prompted the delay by one year. The delay was deliberately made in order to guarantee a three month salary reserve for all the members of staff. Since its inception, the school has prospered and progressed astronomically in every sphere of academics and extra – curricular facet. Students of the school have been excelling in their academic pursuits; the school graph for university and polytechnic, monotechnic admissions as well as school learning certificate examinations successes has always looked up. Students of this college have won numerous trophies and laurels at academic, social and sports competitions. Discipline level has been high and the school has made it a tradition, of utmost importance, to encourage the spiritual well being of her students without infringing on the fundamental human rights of the child. On the 1st of July the name Professional Place College of the college was changed to Peace Professional College.
