We believe that play is “the work” of the young child and is an essential component of learning in our Early Childhood Center. Through purposeful play as well as explicit instruction, children acquire skills that enable them to explore and connect with their environment, solve real problems, develop their language skills, work cooperatively with others, and achieve social and academic success. In order to achieve this goal our teachers structure the environment so that learning from play is purposeful. Our program provides the most eager learner with a strong foundation in early literacy, language, math, science, and technology, while encouraging personal and social development. We engage our nursery students in a wide range of fun, stimulating and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. The curriculum we offer is broad, balanced, creative, interesting and varied to suit all learners. It promotes the intellectual, moral, physical, spiritual and cultural development of each pupil. Our school environment is inviting and secure, encouraging pupils to take pride in their surroundings. This, coupled with an amazingly dedicated and diverse staff of teachers, assistants, coaches and other support personnel. Our primary School goal is to build a solid educational foundation for children, so as to ensure their smooth transition into their secondary school. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum based on the National and international Curriculum whilst striving to achieve a secure level of functionality and effectiveness in reading, oral and written communication.
