Sachel College and Sachel Montessori School, Ijaye, Alagbado, on the northwest axis of Lagos was conceived, and nurtured and specially designed by a team of educationist-entrepreneurs without any financial contributions whatsoever, from any government, foreign or local.  Since the last sixteen years, meticulous attention has been paid to its funding, construction programme as well as adequate staffing.  The diversity of age, background and culture of students, pupils and staff together creates a stimulating and exciting environment. The school, however, offers an exciting opportunity for learning and self-actualization.  Sachel provides an inspiring and instructive learning environment with the best possible resources and facilities available. Academic and moral excellence is what we cherish and uphold at Sachel.

Sachel College, Lagos opened its doors to the first intake of students, in November, 1994. Our buildings are purpose-built structures and well equipped for study. We are continually developing our resources and facilities so that our students can learn using modern equipment and the latest technology.  Sachel is a day and boarding school. The students are housed in hostels within the school’s compound which is securely fenced with gates. The aim is to provide a ‘’home away from home’’ environment. Students are encouraged to mix socially during the course of the day, including meal times, but each hostel is distinctively single sexed with separate facilities.
