Sacred Heart College is a catholic School established by the Catholic Bishop of Lokoja Diocese – Most Rev. Dr. Martins D. Olorunmolu; run and managed by the Sisters of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus. It caters for the moral, spiritual and academic upbringing of the children in Kabba, its environs and all over the country irrespective of tribe and ethnicity.

The inspiration that brought the college into existence came from the Parent Teachers Association (PTA) of Sacred Nursery and Primary School, Kabba. These parents felt that there was a need to establish a college that will replicate the high standards of education provided at the Nursery and Primary school coupled with the over population in all the major secondary schools in Kabba axis even with a below the standard quality of education.  The establishment of the college was therefore, to absorb the very numerous outgoing student from the primary schools giving them a quality education that they truly deserves. The Initial Take off The college was officially opened at the premises of Sacred Heart Nursery and Primary School Kabba, on 3rd October 2006 with an initial enrolment of twenty (22) students into Junior Secondary School 1 (JSS1) which were all day students. It is paramount to note that the pioneer Principal was the then Headmistress of the Sacred Heart Nursery and Primary School Kabba Rev. Sr. Mary Jude Fakorede from October 2006 to December 2007. We cannot forget your immerse contribution to what this school has turned out to become today. God bless you.  Immediately after Rev. Sr. Mary Jude was transferred, another dynamic Principal was brought in; Rev. Sr. Mary Augustine Oshiozekhai who took over from where the pioneer principal stopped on the 8th of January 2008, giving the school various landmark achievements that set the school on the most preferred list of many students and parents likewise. The present Principal who is one of a kind with her remarkable style of leadership Rev. Sr. Grace Marris Maduforo has a lot more in her coffers to offer, that we have observed keenly.  She assumed this responsibility on January 4th 2016. The college is presently fed with students from all over the country especially with the initiation of the bordering which took off in October 2007 barely a year after the school was created.
