Sacred Heart College Ring Road Ibadan

The idea to establish this great institution was conceived in January 27th ,1962 and throughout the years, it has continue to provide much needed platform for the attainment of high quality standard of education in several fields. It is a fact, in my opinion, these past fifty years of existence of SHPS Ring Road, Ibadan; has positive influence on several personalities. To reckon the number of pupils trained so far, and eminence such pupils have attained In our society gives much to be celebrated about. I wish to use this opportunity to pay tribute to the founder of this great institution, Late Bishop Finn SMA and those who worked relentlessly in laying a solid foundation to make SHPS Ring Road, be in existence up till now; in special way we remember Rev.Sr.Hilda OLA and Rev, Mother Micheal Maxwell EHJ. May God grant them eternal rest.amen. I also wish to acknowledge the effort of all our past headteachers/headmasters/headmistresses; for their contribution toward the progress , growth, and development of the school. I congratulate the management, member of staff, PTA, Old pupils and the entire pupils who are in the school presently for keeping the flag flying higher at fifty. You have through your tireless effot helped in carrying on enviable niche for the school. May god grant us all success in all our endeavours. Amen! I appreciate our proprietor Most Rev. Dr. F.A. Alaba Jos for his fatherly love and care; I thank the education Co-Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Congregation. Above all, as we celebrate our Golden Jubilee, we thank the good Lord for his goodness in sustaining us thus far and we rely on his guideness and direction on the years ahead; for we entrust all our undertaking/ cares unto Him.
