The school was founded on 19th September, 2005 under the name Bethel Comprehensive College. It became Lagos State Government /Federal Republic of Nigeria as well as National Examination Bodies: West African Examination Council (WAEC) National Examination Council (NECO) recognized and approved in the year 2007. On 16th July 2016, a new management comprising the chairman board of directors, the head of school/proprietress (SOLARIN O. O.), and the administrator tookover the ownership and running of the affairs of the school. After a period of three years, a new name SAMBANK ACADEMY COLLEGE was officially approved by the Ministry of Education on 21st January 2019.The school is now involved in visionary, cutting edge development programmes for both students and the staff. The head of school, who is very experienced in the role, provides very good support and challenge to the school. She has vision for raising further standards of achievement. Hence, the school is focused on raising the standards and on developing a multi school campus in the near future. The leadership team has created a good and inclusive climate to make the school an effective learning organization. The leadership sets a clear vision for the future of the school as a highly innovative and outward looking institution. She brings a passion that all children can achieve and that education can make a significant difference to young people's lives. To achieve this, she works with experienced and dedicated principal officers to motivate and influence both students and staff.
