In Santa Maria School, we aim to foster mutual understanding between people of different culture and creed and to create a happy atmosphere where everybody (teachers, parents and pupils/students) can work to the best of their ability, discover and build on their talents and grow steadily in confidence and maturity. We also aim to develop the qualities of integrity, honesty, truth, compassion and tolerance and to foster a spirit of inquiry in the child(ren).

Santa Maria College, a citadel of learning known for its academic and moral excellence was commissioned on Monday 29th of September 1998, at No. 15 silver Street, off Palm Avenue Mushin, Lagos State. The opening of the College was stemmed out of the desire of the management to provide sound moral and academic training to the young ones, with the aim of reducing child abuse and increasing rate of miscreant s in the society and the nation at large.
