The Primary section of Shammah International Christian Schools is designed to prepare the right environment for laying a solid foundation in children from the age of four years upwards. All our pupils follow a simple form of descriptive and friendly educational training .This method is used throughout the world as it helps the younger children archieve their full potential. Our Primary School section are divided into five classes: Primary 1-5 (4+) The teaching approach is child-centred in order to help the child start at this early stage to develop his or her skills and learn well. Each class is equipped with descriptive and pictorial materials in the five Montessori curriculum areas: Practical Life Exercises Sensorial education Mathematics Languages Cultural Subjects These provide formative activities for the pupils within a carefully planned and structured environment in which the child can learn and grow at his/ her own pace, along the lines of natural development. The teacher assist the pupils by acting as a guide, facilitator and an encourager.
