The concept of Silverdale Schools was borne out of Chief (Mrs.) Peace Ezechukwu’s strong desire to provide qualitative education to pupils from cradle (creche) to primary school level. It is the mission of the school to provide caring and supportive educational environment for the pupils to achieve academic success, personal growth and become socially responsible and active global citizens with a life long appreciation of learning. Having been able to put the school in good standard, it was dedicated to the glory of God Almighty on the 10th of September, 2005 and commenced the 2005/ 2006 academic session on the 12th of September with nineteen (19) children and seventeen (17) teachers. Since its foundation in 2005, Silverdale School has grown to make its place among the leading nursery and primary schools in its environs and Lagos State at large with year to year growth and a strong placement record for pupils transitioning to other leading secondary schools within and outside the country. While we believe firmly in the importance of traditional values and standards, Silverdale School Lagos is also committed to embracing the opportunities of modern educational methods and technological advances, preparing pupils to face today’s world with confidence and competence wherever their future educational endeavours may take them. We also believe in exploring ways to help our pupils find intrinsic motivation rather than encouraging them to learn only to earn external reward. The teaching methods are constantly reviewed in accordance with the child’s ability, resulting in an efficient and enjoyable interaction. Teachers report include not only the academic progress of the child but also the physical, mental, emotional and social development of the child. In the classroom, on the playground or on a field trip.
