Sovereign Kids Care International School also known as SKC is a coeducational international school located at Sowutuom behind Ghana Police Park, Accra Ghana. Sovereign Kids Care International School has an enrolment of diverse cultural backgrounds. The students’ population derives from many communities and cultural orientations. History: It was established on 1st September 2019 and officially started operation on 10th September 2019. Academics: SKC uses both local and international curricula and the students sit for Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) and international examinations like GCSE. It is a day school for Pre-School – Upper Primary students and boarding for final year students in Junior High School. SKC is accredited by the Council of Private Schools and Ghana Education Service. The School operates three (3) departments – Preschool (creche to Kindergarten), Primary, and Junior High School. SKC accepts enrolment from ages 5 months to 14 years. Students in the lower and Junior High secondary schools have the option to sit for Pearson International Examinations (Pearson Edexcel International GCSE or Basic Education Certificate Examination level curricula.
