The white Dove Academy is a world class school with kindergarten, primary and secondary, with boarding school.The school was set up by a well-meaning Nigerian who is concerned and committed to providing quality education within a decent and respected learning environment. He worked hard with his ideas from the fall of 2006 to establish a school that will promote science and arts in a diverse environment where the students would be free to learn, interact, play and explore learning alongside others who might not be from the same cultural, economic or social background. The name “White Dove Academy” did not come by chance. It was not an accidental occurrence.The initiative was a belief, as result of the explosive rapid changes within the social structure of the nation. The ethnic, cultural and religious factors which have plunged our dear nation into lots of disunity, rivalry and blood shed, have made it imperative that we all go on a peace campaign. Hence the name “White Dove Academy”, Dove being a symbol of peace. White dove stands for peaceful co-existence in the most dignified sense of the word. From the Northeast (where we were terrorized by the religious extremists) down to the South South (where we have the Niger Delta boys crippling the economy by blowing up oil pipe lines), we are in dare need of peace in our nation. In other words, the birth of White Dove Academy is an earnest effort by the proprietor to nurture a crop of future leaders who would not only intellectually, but socially and morally stair the affairs of this nation to the most appropriate destination. Having the conviction in mind that Nigeria can be better, the initiative is not purely capitalist in nature, but rather an effort to better strengthen the mechanics of our social structure by using the educational enterprise, being the back bone on which advancement can be attained to achieve her objectives. Hence our motto-Learning In diversity. Though the ownership of the school changed in December 2006, which prompted the change of name from “White House Academy” to “White Dove Academy” in 2010. We have remained determined to provide our students with an academically challenging environment in which all of them are encouraged to work hard in order to achieve their goals. Also in 2011, after several inspections from WAEC and NECO , the school was given accreditation to field students in WAEC and NECO Senior School Examinations., in 2012, White Dove Academy wrote the very first SSCE examinations in the school hall. Since then, the school has been participating, yearly in these examinations. Our highly qualified and experienced teachers are all approachable. The fact that some of them have been with the school for more than six years, makes for continuity and unity. Will also deliver our curriculum in very reasonable class sizes. The proprietor’s has subscribed to the vision of providing quality education in a decent learning environment. We also believe that education is about creating awareness achievements, carried through in later life. Since education is about changing behavior, our expectations are high. White Dove Academy is therefore well disciplined and the students are responsive and responsible. White Dove Academy is located in the serene GRA area of Suleja near the FCT. It is easily accessible to the main road and its proximity to the heart of the town makes it the first choice for every parent who really seeks the best for his/her children. Today White Dove Academy has grown in strength and population from very few to more than 400 students and pupils. We also have a new school which caters for the educational needs of low income earners. New City School, is located not too far from White Dove College.
