The inspiration for Total Academy Nursery & Primary School came in 2008 when the Board- of-Directors saw the need to establish a world-class institution that would deliver educational best practice to an average Nigerian child without depriving any child the right to face any head-on challenges that could be encountered in their journey to becoming scholars. The directors envisioned a school based on the Nigerian/British educational philosophy, which strives to develop pupils’ intellectual, artistic and practical skills in an integrated and holistic manner, so as to bring up a well-rounded child who can speak out in the society at large. By September, 2011, a school was born at Karu-site in Abuja Municipal Area Council. Opened with fully equipped classrooms, with state-of-the-art facilities for teaching-learning activities. The library, laboratories, playground and all other facilities that support extra-curricular activities were readily available.
