Daveliz Golden Schools was established on the 17th of September 2012 with 10 pupils, to us the number is significant because it represents double grace. The school was a vision given to Pastor Adelakun David [The Chief Executive Officer] to make a difference in the educational sector in Nigeria in view of the moral decadence and corruption that had enveloped the sector. Pastor Adelakun David Olugbenga started his career in the banking industry in the early 80’s precisely with First Bank of Nigeria PLC where he rose to the echelon of his profession as the head of internal audit in First bank, Intercontinental bank and also became an MD/CEO of a subsidiary in First bank (FBN insurance brokers limited). He was also a trainer and instructor in training schools of banks and professional bodies including; CIBN and ICAN. He is a holder of a Bachelors’ Degree in Banking and Finance and Masters Degree in Business Administration, A Fellow of Chartered Institute of Banks of Nigeria, and A Fellow of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He also possesses various certificates in educational training institutes. The journey to the commencement of Daveliz Golden Schools started couples of years before he left the banking industry in 2012 when God revealed to him in a vision which was also confirmed by some seasoned Men of God within the country, South Africa and the USA that he, in company of his wife- Mrs. Elizabeth Olufunke Adelakun [The Executive Director] should go into the educational sector in addition to their spiritual calling as ministers of the gospel. Having waited on the Lord, the name DAVELIZ GOLDEN SCHOOLS which was derived from the combination his first name and that of his wife was birthed on the 17th of September 2012 at No 31, Olubadan Avenue, 7up Road, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Coincidentally, this venue was where himself and his family joined the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Jesus Place parish 12 years earlier.
